Hello, I’m Brrasie! I started Metamorphosis Healing Arts to create meaningful change in my clients bodies and improve their experience on this earth.
I specialize in Structural Pain Relief. I achieve this through modalities I have learned, along with insights from my experience with all of my clients over the years and my own healing journey. I have listed my training below – and that’s important, but not why your here. You’re here because you need relief.
I provide that relief first through connection and co-regulation. Second, I communicate with your fascia – and the rest is just gravy.
Sessions with me at Metamorphosis Healing Arts are transformative and lovely.
I graduated from Kalamazoo Center for Healing Arts in June 2003. I have received both in-person and online continuing ed, including but not limited to specializing in neck & head relief, ankles & feet, chi gung, and Yoga Teacher Training.
I practiced for a time with a spa in Grand Rapids, and a Chiropractor in Richland. I have held a variety of positions at many jobs over the years, including hotel housekeeping, fast food drive thru, bussing tables at a large restaurant, office temp work, call center agent, personal assistant. Through all of this, I maintained my skills with bodywork by working on friends and loved ones – most especially my grandfather. I went back to school at KVCC and K College. While I deeply value everything I learned at these institutions, these didn’t lead me to different careers. My heart is in this work, and it always has been.
After working for Kalamazoo Massage Center in 2017 before having my son, I went from establishment to establishment to find my fit. Finally, in December of 2018, I saw a room available at Creekside Wellness Center. Thanks to the owner, Rebecca, I was able to build a client base through groupon and referrals. After five months of being an employee of Creekside, I realized I could work for myself. This was a wonderful undertaking, and risky! I learned bookkeeping, responsbile ownership practices, holding boundaries, developing effective policies – even building my own website!
May of 2026 marks my 7th year of running Metamorphosis Healing Arts. I am deeply grateful to every client who has trusted me with their care and made it possible for me to practice this beautiful work. I look forward to many more years of helping people find their peace and safety in both my studio, and in their own bodies.
